The law says rules can be made for courts when they are dealing with adoption cases. You can find these rules for the High Court under section 148 of the Senior Courts Act 2016. The rules for the District Court and Family Court are found under section 228 of the District Court Act 2016 and section 16A of the Family Court Act 1980, respectively. These rules help the courts follow the right process when making decisions about adoption. The courts must follow these rules when dealing with adoption cases. This helps make sure the process is fair and follows the law.
