39Application of Act in respect of crematoria

  1. The provisions of this Act relating to the powers and duties of local authorities with respect to cemeteries shall so far as they are applicable and with any necessary modifications apply to crematoria under or proposed to be under the control and management of local authorities and any such crematorium situated within the boundaries of a cemetery which is under the control and management of the same local authority shall for the purposes of this Act be deemed to be part of that cemetery.
