13Things endangering safety

  1. Every person is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months or a fine not exceeding $2,000 who, having in his care or under his control in any public place any thing (whether animate or inanimate) that in the absence of precaution or care is likely to cause injury, with reckless disregard for the safety of others and without reasonable excuse does anything to or with, or leaves, that thing.
