This schedule is about changes made to the Wages Protection Act 1983 on or after 1 April 2016. You can find more information about these changes in s 2A. The schedule explains how these changes affect you and your employment.

When the changes were made, a new section called Section 5A was added to the Act. This new section only applies to deductions made after the changes came into effect. It applies to all employment agreements, no matter when they were made. You can learn more about the changes made by the 2016 Act by looking at section 7 of the Wages Protection Amendment Act 2016.

The changes made to the Act do not affect things that happened before the changes came into effect. This means that if something happened before 1 April 2016, the new rules do not apply to it.
