The purpose of the Venture Capital Fund is to help New Zealand's economy by increasing the money available for new businesses. You will see this happen when more money is invested in New Zealand businesses. The Venture Capital Fund wants to make the investment market in New Zealand work better. This means you can expect to see more money invested in New Zealand businesses from various sources. You will also see businesses that receive investment become successful and sustainable over time, which will help the investment market in New Zealand become self-sustaining.
