The clean slate scheme applies to you when someone asks about your criminal record. This scheme also applies when someone asks for information about your criminal record. You can find more information about when this does not apply in section 31(3) of the Children’s Act 2014. The clean slate scheme applies to all sentences given to you, no matter when they were given. It also applies to all specified orders made about you, no matter when they were made.
