Financial Markets Authority Act 2011

General information-gathering and enforcement powers - Other powers - Power to require warning to be disclosed

50: FMA must give notice of orders

You could also call this:

“The FMA must tell people when they make, change, or cancel rules”

When the FMA (Financial Markets Authority) makes an order under section 49, they have to tell people about it right away. They do this by putting information on their website. This information includes why they made the order, what the rules of the order are, and any other details they think are important. The FMA can also tell people about the order in other ways if they want to, and they can let specific people know about it too.

If the FMA changes or cancels an order they made under section 49, they also have to tell people about this quickly. They put information on their website explaining why they changed or cancelled the order, what the new rules are if they changed it, and any other important details. Just like before, they can also share this information in other ways and tell specific people if they want to.
