Partnership Law Act 2019

Relationship of partners to third persons and to each other - Relationship of partners to one another

51: Most decisions may be made by majority

You could also call this:

"Partners can make most everyday choices together, but everyone must agree to change the business type"

When you're in a partnership, most decisions about everyday matters related to the business can be made by most of the partners agreeing. You don't need everyone to agree on these regular things.

But if you want to change what kind of business your partnership does, that's different. For a big change like that, all the partners must agree. You can't change the type of business without everyone saying it's okay.
