Partnership Law Act 2019

Relationship of partners to third persons and to each other - Relationship of partners to one another

52: Access to partnership’s records

You could also call this:

"Rules for partners to see and copy the partnership's important papers"

You need to know about the rules for accessing a partnership's records. These are the official documents and information that belong to the business partnership.

The partnership must keep its records in a place where they are easy to get to. This place is usually where the partnership does its business. If the partnership has more than one place of business, the records should be at the main one.

If you are a partner in the business, you have the right to look at these records whenever you want. You can read them, check them, and even make copies of them. This is to help you stay informed about what's happening in the partnership.
