If a search warrant is issued under section 117, the enforcement officer or constable can do certain things. You can be asked to help them. They can search for things that might be used as evidence. They can also look at and copy documents. You might be asked to show them a particular document or help them make a copy. They can use equipment at the place to help with the search. The occupier of the place might be asked to answer questions. The enforcement officer or constable can also ask you to keep things unchanged for a few days or give them copies of documents. Some rules from the Search and Surveillance Act 2012 also apply when a search warrant is issued.
