18Commissioner's power to recommend that Attorney-General appoint Judicial Conduct Panel

  1. The Commissioner may recommend to the Attorney-General that he or she appoint a Judicial Conduct Panel to inquire into any matter or matters concerning the alleged conduct of a Judge if the Commissioner is of the opinion that—

  2. an inquiry into the alleged conduct is necessary or justified; and
    1. if established, the conduct may warrant consideration of removal of the Judge.
      1. The Commissioner must give reasons with his or her recommendation under subsection (1).

      2. The Commissioner must give the complainant and the Judge who is the subject of the complaint written notification of any action taken under subsection (1).
