Illustration for Governor-General Act 2010

If you claim an annuity under section 9 and someone else also claims it, an authorised person decides if more than one person gets the annuity. They also decide how much each person gets if more than one person is entitled to it. The total annuity paid to all entitled people cannot be more than what would be paid to one person.
