4Interpretation

  1. In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,—

    authorised person means a person authorised to make decisions under section 16 by the Minister who, with the authority of the Prime Minister, is responsible for Ministerial Services

      family member, in relation to any person, means—

      1. a spouse or partner:
        1. a child—
          1. who is being maintained as a member of the person's family; and
            1. in respect of whom the person either is the sole or principal provider of ongoing daily care for the child or shares ongoing daily care of the child substantially equally with another person; and
              1. who is under 18 years of age; and
                1. who is not living with another person in a marriage, civil union, or de facto relationship

                financial year has the same meaning as in section 2(1) of the Public Finance Act 1989

                  partner means a civil union or de facto partner.
