Gangs Act 2024

Dispersal notices and non-consorting orders - Non-consorting orders - Variation and discharge of order

27: Variation of non-consorting order for specified reasons

You could also call this:

“Changing a no-contact order for special reasons”

You can ask the District Court to change a non-consorting order if you need to do certain things. If you’re under one of these orders, you can ask the court to let you go to a specific tangi or funeral. You can also ask to take part in other lawful activities. The court will look at your request as quickly as they can. When you ask for these changes, you need to tell the court exactly what you want to do.
