The Defamation Act 1992 has a list of laws that it changes. You can find this list in the part called "Enactments amended". It is empowered by section 56(1) of the Act, which you can read about by following the link to s 56(1). The laws that are changed include the Broadcasting Act 1989 and the Children, Young Persons, and Their Families Act 1989. Other laws that are changed are the Commerce Act 1986 and the Coroners Act 1988. These laws are all part of the New Zealand legal system. The list of changed laws also includes the Human Rights Commission Act 1977 and the Law Commission Act 1985. You will also find the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 and the Ombudsmen Act 1975 in the list. The Police Complaints Authority Act 1988 and the Privacy Commissioner Act 1991 are also included.
