Takeovers Act 1993

Takeovers Panel

7C: Powers of division

You could also call this:

"The Takeovers Panel can divide into smaller groups to make decisions."

Illustration for Takeovers Act 1993

When the Takeovers Panel makes a decision under section 7A, you need to know which part of the Panel is making the decision. The Panel can be divided into smaller groups, and each group has its own powers. These powers are not affected if members leave or join the group. If one group of the Panel is making a decision, another group can also make a decision at the same time. You can make a decision by signing a document, even if you are not in the same room. This document can be sent by post, delivered, or sent electronically. The decision can be written on several documents, and each member can sign their own document. This way, all members can agree on a decision without being in the same place.
