31ENon-disclosure of information from inspection

  1. A person must not communicate to any other person any information acquired in the course of an inspection under section 31A except—

  2. in accordance with section 31C; or
    1. for the purposes of this Act, the Financial Markets Authority Act 2011, or any of the Acts listed in Schedule 1 of that Act; or
      1. in accordance with the Official Information Act 1982 or the Privacy Act 2020; or
        1. in the course of any criminal proceedings (but subject to the limitation in section 31C(1)(b)).
