Auctioneers Act 2013

Application for registration

11: Refusal of application

You could also call this:

"Explaining why an application to be an auctioneer was turned down"

If the person in charge of registrations (the Registrar) decides not to accept your application to be registered as an auctioneer, they must tell you in writing. They need to explain why they didn't accept it and send you this information within 10 working days of making their decision.

If you don't agree with the Registrar's decision to refuse your application, you have the right to challenge it. You can do this by appealing to the District Court. The rules for how to do this are explained in section 22 of this law.
