Auctioneers Act 2013

Registrar and register

21: Register of auctioneers

You could also call this:

“A list of all registered auctioneers that anyone can look up online”

The Registrar must create and maintain a register of registered auctioneers. This register is called the register of auctioneers. The Registrar needs to make sure that the information in the register is as accurate and up to date as possible.

The register must be kept in electronic form, but the Registrar can also keep it in any other form they think is suitable.

You can find some information about registered auctioneers on the internet. The Registrar must make sure that the part of the register that has each registered auctioneer’s name, contact details, and address for service is available for the public to see online at any reasonable time.
