Auctioneers Act 2013

Duration of registration

12: Registration expires after 12 months

You could also call this:

“Your auctioneer licence runs out after a year unless you renew it”

Your registration as a registered auctioneer lasts for 12 months from the day you register. After 12 months, your registration will end unless you do something to keep it going. You can keep your registration by giving an annual confirmation as described in section 13. Your registration can end early if it’s cancelled under section 14, or if you choose to give it up yourself.
