Auctioneers Act 2013

Appeals against decisions of Registrar

23: Interim order by District Court

You could also call this:

“The court can temporarily stop an auctioneer's registration from being cancelled”

If you’re a registered auctioneer and your registration has been cancelled, you can appeal this decision. While your appeal is being decided, the District Court can make a temporary order to stop the cancellation. This is called an interim order.

The District Court can add any conditions they think are necessary to this interim order. If the court makes an interim order, they will tell the Registrar about it. The Registrar will then quickly change the register to show that your registration is not cancelled for now.
