"Encouraging New Zealanders to Get Active and Have Fun"
The purpose of this Act is to help people in New Zealand get involved in physical activities like recreation and sport. This is done by creating an organisation called Sport and Recreation New Zealand. You can think of this organisation as a group that will promote and support people playing sports and being active.
This organisation is meant to encourage people to get moving and have fun while being physically active. The goal is to make it easier for people in New Zealand to participate in recreation and sport.
By establishing Sport and Recreation New Zealand, this Act aims to make a positive impact on people's lives by promoting physical activity.
