You have an exemption under section 11 of the Telecommunications (Interception Capability) Act 2004. This exemption stays in force under the same terms as if it was granted under section 29 of this Act. It can be changed or cancelled under section 29. You treat an exemption from the Telecommunications (Interception Capability) Act 2004 as an exemption from a similar provision in this Act. This means the exemption still applies even if the new provision is slightly different. The exemption is linked to the new provision that replaces or is similar to the old one, which can be found in the Telecommunications (Interception Capability) Act 2004 and the Telecommunications (Interception Capability) Act 2004.
