When you are on bail with an electronic monitoring condition, information from the monitoring can be used for certain purposes. You can find one of these purposes in section 30A. Information can also be used to check if you are following your bail conditions, to detect if you are not following them, and to find out if you have committed another offence. Information from electronic monitoring can be used to see if you have tampered with the equipment. This helps make sure the equipment is working correctly and that you are following the rules. The information can also be used as evidence if you do not follow your bail conditions. Information from electronic monitoring is important for making sure you are following the rules while you are on bail.
