Illustration for Support Workers (Pay Equity) Settlements Act 2017

You have a claim under the Equal Pay Act 1972 about support services. If you lodged it before a certain date, you cannot pursue it now. It is treated as if you withdrew it. You also cannot make a new claim about support services between 1 July 2011 and 30 June 2022. This rule does not affect claims about support services after 30 June 2022. It also does not affect claims that are not about support services. You can still make claims under the Equal Pay Act 1972 for other things. These claims are not affected by this rule. You can make claims about support services that happened after 30 June 2022.
