You are looking at a schedule called Transitional, savings, and related provisions. This schedule is part of the Support Workers (Pay Equity) Settlements Act 2017. It has information that is not part of the main act. The schedule is divided into parts and provisions. When people talk about the Care and Support Workers (Pay Equity) Settlement Act 2017, they mean the Support Workers (Pay Equity) Settlements Act 2017. This is because the name of the act was changed. You can find more information about this in section 6. There are rules for mental health and addiction support workers. These rules are about how long they have been working. Their length of service includes time when they were working for any employer, even if they were not providing support services. You can find more information about this in clause 1 of Schedule 2.
