This Act does a few things to help support workers. It stops them from making claims under the Equal Pay Act 1972. It sets the minimum hourly wage rates for support workers from 1 July 2017 to 31 December 2023. It also requires employers to help support workers get qualifications. The funders will pay extra money to employers to help with the costs of following this Act.
