You start a claim by lodging a form with the Tribunal. You pay a fee if you need to. You can lodge your claim at any Tribunal office. The Tribunal decides where to hold the hearing. They might choose a place near where you live or work. They can move the hearing to a different office if it is more convenient. If you lodge your claim at one office, it might be moved to another office under section 37. A Registrar can also move the claim if all parties agree. They can move it to another office if everyone consents.

  3. Where a claim is lodged with an office of the Tribunal, or transferred to that office under section 37, and the Tribunal is satisfied that the claim can be more conveniently or fairly heard in some other office of the Tribunal, the Tribunal may order that the proceedings be transferred to that other office.

  4. Where a claim is lodged with an office of the Tribunal, or transferred to that office under section 37, a Registrar may, on the application of any party, if all the parties to the claim consent, order that the proceedings be transferred to another office of the Tribunal.
