31Applicant entitled to control conduct of case

  1. Where, in any proceedings before the Tribunal, a claim for relief to which section 28 applies is made, the applicant shall, subject to section 27 and sections 32 to 34, be entitled to control the conduct of the applicant's case, notwithstanding that the applicant's insurer becomes a party to those proceedings pursuant to section 28(4) or (5) or section 29(3).
