Illustration for Disputes Tribunal Act 1988

When there is no rule about what to do, the Tribunal will choose a procedure that it thinks is fair. The Tribunal must follow this Act and any rules made under it, as well as any practice notes issued under section 6C(1)(ha). You can think of the procedure as a way for the Tribunal to make decisions that are best for justice.
