You can give a notice to a person by delivering it to them personally. You can also give a notice by delivering it to their home or work, including by facsimile. You can give a notice by sending it by prepaid post to their home or work. When you give a notice to a corporation, you can give it to one of its officers or to its registered office. This is the same as giving the notice to the corporation itself. You can give a notice to a partnership by giving it to one of the partners. If you send a notice by post, it is considered given on the third day after you posted it. This is unless someone can prove it was given on a different day. You need to follow these rules when giving notices for the purposes of this Act.
