Illustration for Serious Fraud Office Act 1990

You can get permission to share protected information. This permission must be in writing. The Director can add conditions to this permission. You can share information with specific people or groups. But if the permission is given under section 37(3)(b) or section 39(2)(b), you can only share certain information. The permission will stop when the person it is given to is no longer part of the Serious Fraud Office. The Director decides what conditions to add to the permission. The permission can be given to share information with anyone, but it must follow the rules. It is also important to note that the permission can be given to share information generally, but with some limits.
