50Exercise of powers not precluded by certain matters

  1. The Director may exercise any power conferred by this Act notwithstanding—

  2. that the Police or any other person may also be investigating the suspected offence:
    1. that any criminal or other proceedings have been commenced in respect of any matter related to the investigation:
      1. that the suspected offence occurred before the date on which the Serious Fraud Office was established or before the date on which this Act comes into force.
