When you are under 18 and the court orders a bodily sample from you, some rules apply. These rules are the same as if you were an adult and the court ordered a bodily sample under section 13. The court can make an order that affects not just you, but also other people involved in the case. If the court is considering an application under section 18, then section 15 applies. This means the court can make decisions about your bodily sample. The court's decisions can affect you and other people who are part of the case. Section 17 and section 17A also apply when the court is considering an application under section 18. These rules are the same as if the application was made under section 13. This helps the court make fair decisions about bodily samples.
