You need to know that some changes were made to the Criminal Investigations (Bodily Samples) Act 1995 by the Criminal Investigations (Bodily Samples) Amendment Act 2003. These changes do not affect things that were done under the Act before certain parts of the Criminal Investigations (Bodily Samples) Amendment Act 2003 started. This means that what happened before is still valid.
