75Fees and expenses of lay advocate

  1. Where, pursuant to section 18(3)(b)(vi) or section 41C(2)(c), any person appears at the hearing of an application for a juvenile compulsion order or at a databank compulsion notice hearing for a person under the age of 18 years,—

  2. the fees and expenses of that person in connection with that appearance shall be deemed, for the purposes of section 328A of the Oranga Tamariki Act 1989, to be fees and expenses of that person in his or her capacity as a lay advocate; and
    1. the provisions of that section of that Act shall apply in relation to those fees and expenses accordingly.
