The Sports Tribunal of New Zealand can ask someone to come to a hearing to give evidence. You might be asked to come if the Tribunal wants you to, or if someone involved in the case asks for you to be there. The Tribunal will send you a witness summons that tells you when and where to go.

The witness summons will tell you what to bring with you, like papers or documents. It will also tell you that you can get money to help with travel costs. You will be told what might happen if you do not go to the hearing.

The person who sends you the witness summons might be someone from the Tribunal, the chairperson, or someone acting on their behalf.
