When a local authority makes a decision under section 32(1), you will see it published in the Gazette and notified publicly in the local area as soon as possible. The decision will include the reasons why it was made, the grounds that support those reasons, and where the advice behind the decision came from. You can find the details of the decision by looking at the notification.

When a decision is made about a recommendation from section 30(1), it can be based on the reasons the Ombudsman looked at, but not on any other reasons. The local authority will make the decision based on the information they have, and they will let you know what that decision is. You can find out about the decision by checking the public notification.
