16Appointment of Judge as Commissioner

1. The appointment of a Judge as the Children’s Commissioner does not affect the tenure of their judicial office or the Judge’s rank, title, status, precedence, salary, annual or other allowances, or other rights or privileges as a Judge (including those in relation to superannuation).

2. For all purposes, the Judge’s service as the Children’s Commissioner is taken to be service as a Judge.
