You cannot serve on a jury if you have been sentenced to imprisonment for life or for 3 years or more. 7Disqualification

  1. The following persons are not qualified to serve on any jury in any court on any occasion:

  2. any one who, at any time, has been sentenced to imprisonment for life or for a term of 3 years or more, or to preventive detention:
    1. any one who, at any time within the preceding 5 years, has been sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 3 months or more, or to home detention for a period that is, or is more than, 3 months.
