The Registrar can change a jury list at any time. You might be removed from the list if you are not qualified according to section 6, or if you are disqualified according to section 7. The Registrar can also remove you if you are not allowed to serve on a jury according to section 8, or if a Judge has said you cannot serve. The Registrar can make these changes based on their own knowledge or on evidence they think is reliable. You can be removed from the list if you have applied to delay your jury service under section 14B and your application has been accepted. The Registrar can also remove you from the list if you have died.

12ARegistrar may amend jury list

  1. The Registrar may at any time amend a jury list relating to his or her court by deleting from it the name of any person who is—

  2. not qualified according to section 6; or
    1. disqualified according to section 7; or
      1. not to serve on any jury according to section 8; or
        1. otherwise prevented or excused from serving on a jury by this Act or by order of a Judge; or
          1. an applicant for deferral of jury service, under section 14B, whose application has been accepted but who has not yet been issued with a replacement summons; or
            1. dead.
              1. In exercising the power to amend the jury list, the Registrar may act on his or her own knowledge, or on such evidence as he or she considers satisfactory.
