When a referendum advertisement is promoted by more than one person or group, it is called a jointly promoted referendum advertisement. This happens when the advertisement has the details of each promoter on it. You need to know that each promoter must add up all the costs of making the advertisement and count them as their own expenses. This is so they can follow the rules outlined in sections 44(b), 45, and 72 when it comes to the referendum.
