21Commissioner to provide information and assistance at request of Authority

The Commissioner shall, whenever the Authority so requests, provide to the Authority all such information and assistance as is necessary for the proper performance by the Authority of its functions in relation to its investigation of any complaint, incident, or other matter under this Act.
Where the Authority oversees a Police investigation of a complaint, the Commissioner shall, whenever the Authority so requests, provide to the Authority—
any or all information in the possession or under the control of the Police that is relevant to the complaint:
a report on the progress of the investigation.
