Illustration for Independent Police Conduct Authority Act 1988

You make a complaint to the Police Complaints Authority. If the Authority has not finished dealing with it before the Independent Police Conduct Authority Amendment Act 2007 starts, they will deal with it under this Act. This happens even if something was done about the complaint before the Independent Police Conduct Authority Amendment Act 2007 started, which was amended by section 25 of the Independent Police Conduct Authority Amendment Act 2007.
