You are part of a group that looks at how the police work. If you were a Deputy Police Complaints Authority before the Independent Police Conduct Authority Amendment Act 2007 started, you are now a member of this group. You keep the same job conditions and time left in your job as you had before. You get to be in this group because of a change made by the Independent Police Conduct Authority Amendment Act 2007, which can be found at https://legislation.govt.nz/act/public/1986/0120/latest/link.aspx?id=DLM967918. Your job is based on what was said in section 5(1) of this Act, which was changed by section 9 of the Independent Police Conduct Authority Amendment Act 2007, found at https://legislation.govt.nz/act/public/1986/0120/latest/link.aspx?id=DLM967940. You have the same terms and conditions as you did when you were appointed under section 8 of this Act before the Independent Police Conduct Authority Amendment Act 2007 started, which can be found at https://legislation.govt.nz/act/public/1986/0120/latest/link.aspx?id=DLM967918.
