Part 9Offences and penalties
62Application of fines (Repealed)
Notes
- Section 62: repealed, on , by section 3(2) of the Public Revenues Amendment Act 1958 (1958 No 88).

If you break the rules in the Impounding Act 1955, you might get a fine. A fine is money you have to pay as a punishment. The law used to say what happens to the money you pay as a fine, but this part of the law is no longer valid.
You don't have to worry about what this old law said about fines because it was repealed on 2 October 1958 by the Public Revenues Amendment Act 1958. This means the law was changed and this part is not used anymore. The Public Revenues Amendment Act 1958 is the law that changed the old rule.
