Incorporation of trust boards

26A: Registrar may inquire whether board still carrying on operations

You could also call this:

“Registrar can check if a board is still active”

The Registrar can check if a board is still working by sending a letter to the board’s office. If the board doesn’t answer within 6 months, or if the letter comes back because it couldn’t be delivered, the Registrar can decide that the board isn’t working anymore. This is just one way the Registrar can check. They can also use other ways to find out if the board has stopped working.
