Charitable Trusts Act 1957

Incorporation of trust boards

22: Power to incorporate for charitable purposes under other Acts

You could also call this:

“You can still create charitable groups using other laws, but not if you've already done it under this law.”

This law says you can still create a company, society, or corporation for religious, educational, or other charitable purposes under other laws. You can also include these purposes as part of what your organisation does. However, if you’ve already set up a board using this specific part of the law (the Charitable Trusts Act 1957), you can’t then set it up again under a different law.
