Charitable Trusts Act 1957

Incorporation of trust boards

26AA: Restoration to register

You could also call this:

“Putting a charity board back on the official list if it was taken off by accident”

If a board is removed from the register by mistake, the Registrar can put it back. This is called restoring the board. When the Registrar does this, they must write it down in the register. They also need to tell everyone about it by putting a notice in the Gazette (which is like a special government newspaper) and on a website. The website notice needs to stay up for at least 20 working days.

When a board is restored, it’s like it was never removed. Everything goes back to how it was before the removal. The board is considered restored from the moment the Registrar writes it down in the register, but it’s treated as if it had never been removed in the first place.
