Charitable Trusts Act 1957

Schemes in respect of certain charitable trusts

37: Opposition to scheme

You could also call this:

"How to tell people you don't agree with a charity's plan"

If you want to oppose a scheme related to a charitable trust, you need to do something important. You must tell the Registrar, the trustees, and the Attorney-General in writing that you plan to oppose it. You have to do this at least 7 clear days before the court is set to hear about the scheme. This gives everyone time to prepare for the hearing. Remember, it's your responsibility to inform these people if you disagree with the scheme.
